Bing and Microsoft have the guts to attract customers, but surely they still long to go and make more useful features to get higher figures of share...
Yes, I think people does not like to change. What can make change people? More pertinence and more pertinence only
Google would have to treat every new search engine as a potential threat. This is how you run a successful business. If Google became complacent that it could never be beaten (as many of you are) then they would have fallen a while ago. So, while there may not be any worry for Google as far as losing the top seat, they have to act as if there is. It is true that using Google has become a habit, and has been for the last decade, but some people do change habits.
If it isn't bothering Serge it should. I know my blogs are starting to get a bunch of hits from Bling. It's never good to have one company ( Google) controlling any market. I hope I hope the people behind Bing put their all into because it can only mean a win win for us publishers.
I would expect to see a marked increase from Bing. I feel that people inevitably change their routine, and I'm personally hoping that Bing will hold it's own against Google. I just can't get past the one track mentality that so many people have, they find something they like and nothing else is even remotely close in features. Google and Bing is the new argument to temporarily replace the IE v. Firefox debate.
Everyone said Yahoo was king, then Google came out and crushed them. Now Google is King. Something always comes along and shakes up the market place. GM was king, now they are living off the Government Tit while companies like Honda, Toyota, and VW thrive in North America. Some of you need a corporate history lesson. The Continental Can Company used to be the biggest supplier of cans. They haven't been around for 80+ years.
