I might say I am a die hard fan of Google. I use a lot of Google products daily and I love it. So sometimes I give these speeches to my friends where I am protecting Google all the time. Not only protecting but even hype'ing it. But few days ago I started watching this Google glass presentation by Sergey Brin on the I/O event where they demonstrated the Google Glass live. Just before that I watched Brin giving a speech at Ted Talks. I must say that if you are so rich and so powerful why don't you take few lessons from a public speech specialist? I think it would boost the business. Or Google doesn't need any more boosts? Even if not for that reason. It would be quite polite to make the presentation more appealing. But right now it felt embarrassing. Project Glass: Live Demo At Google I/O Sergey Brin talks about Google Glass at TED 2013 This made me think of Apple and Steve Jobs. Jobs knew how to get attention and how to make this wow effect while demonstrating the products. And I learned that Samsung will not send some goofy guys to give big speeches but hires professionals. Google seems such a nice place to work at and having this friendly environment and all, maybe someone would pat on Sergey's shoulder and say "Hey Sergey, Good work, awesome glasses, but maybe, just maybe you'll get some public speaking lessons or hire someone to save audience from the embarrassment..."
Steve jobs invented lots of things, starting from the apple PC to the iphone. ipad and so long. This guy started making his inventions in the family's garage so it's a difference between him and Sergey. Sergey did not have these problems, he received a check of 100.000 k that helped him more than enough + he did not made any tangible invention. This is his first one. I would go definitely for Steve Jobs.
Personally i dont like Apple, most of things selling by apple are only copies from other companies. Nothing creative, only high price.. Marketing & marketing that is main weapon of Apple
Steve Jobs was a genius when it came to technology, but he didn't have a lot of common sense when it came to his health. Still though I would go definitely for Steve Jobs.
Steve Jobs ... The man who can see the future ..!! who brought the mouse pointer into a computer (from xerox). The person who brought a new vision for technologies. Sergey Brin.. The co founder of Google.. But Still my heart says Steve Jobs
Steve Jobs is getting popularity in every corner of world, but Sergey Brin is getting popularity in mainly business world...both are different..
Steve Jobs played in a league of his own. I can't compare him with Sergey Brin. They are two different personality, played in two different eras of computer age.
Steve Jobs doesn't have a competition. The way he climb on the ''top of the world'' is pretty amazing. Wonderfull man. Great speecher also.
No one can defeat steve jobs in leadership, He is the leader of inovation and tech in this era even He was gone now.
The main difference between them is that Brin makes products that sets up internet life standards while Jobs was creating lifestyles in the same internet wold.
They are both geniuses. I prefer Steve Jobs over Brin though, just because of the way he handled himself. Very smart businessman and is one of my idols.
