Sequence in which to start SEO

Suppose I have a website with zero traffic and zero PR.
Now in what PATTERN you would work, so as to get traffic and good rankings for the selected keywords?

 

On apge and off page seo.

You will first create relevant content and then go for link building.
Methods linke article submissions and social bookmarking will be useful.

 

First Onpage - contents, web structure and design etc...
Then Offpage - link building forum postings, blogging, social bookmarkings, etc...


That's the process or sequence when starting seo, we have to keep in mind that the site must be finished first before doing the link building.

 

as per my knowledge you can start from directory submission at related category

 

so many things you need to learn befroe you start.
On Page: Content, Keywords density, code structure(w3c)
Off Page: link building...

 

Using your targeted keywords in your title tags, description tags, h1 tags, page contents and of course in the anchor text of your backlinks.

first keep good keyword density, meta tag, internal linking, xml and html site map, robot text file than after create link good link building such as search engine submission, directory, article, press release submission, social book marking, blog comments, forum posting etc.

 

I agree. It is very important to have this "Social" image thru bookmarking and FB.

 

Every site whether its new or stable; needs quality content to survive when it comes to top ranking in Google or any other major search engine. So I support you should be doing:

1. write quality content frequently
2. avoid using duplicate content and plagiarism
3. submit your site to relevant sites/directories/blogs
4. avoid link farms, spamdexing and excessive link exchange

By doing these simple jobs, you can improve your site's ranking in search engines.

 

After On page Optimization works like : - designing, content quality, keywords selections etc.

Then left just be concentrate on Off Page Optimizations works.

Thats include many things like : - forums posting as you have done here, blogs posts & comments, article marketing, directory submission.

All are the main tools that will surely helps you to get back links for your site & increase PR in Google & other search engine.

Try to use high PR site for making back links.

Firstly you need to check your content, it should be unique and keywords matter. Backlinks definetly improve your rankings on search engine.

 

First of all you should not be worried about PR initially, you should focus more on how to get traffic and how to appear in SERPs. PR is secondary thing only one of Google 200+ factors. For grabbing traffic you can initially start with social media marketing that is the easiest thing and you can do that without any capital investment. If you have some bucks then you should submit to reliable directories like Yahoo directory, try getting link from DMOZ. Internally optimize your website etc etc

 

You can not separate any part of SEO from one another. It is a comprehensive process not a piecemeal approach. Do everything concurrently.

But you need to prioritize things.... some things are more important than others

 

First get your website completed, then go for directory submissions
Later on go for article submissions, blog postings, forum participations, social networking sites and other link building strategies.
And don't expect quick results and abstain from those who promise quick results.

 

When doing article submissions and blogs, don't take shortcuts (like article spinners). Put in the extra time to create unique content and you'll be rewarded by big G.
