Wasn't me or I would have further qualified the remark :p

I don't mind getting or giving rep, green, red or gray ... but not having the fortitude to sign them is chickenshit!

After he decided not to seek re-election, he seemed to fall out of public view, but stayed very active nevertheless.

After leaving office, he had a short stint on MSNBC; in 2004 he started teaching a study group at Harvard University for the Spring 2004 semester as a visiting fellow at the Kennedy School of Government's Institute of Politics (IOP) - these presentations were among the highest attended in the history of the IOP; he is serving as an advisory board member for a new group called Operation Truth, a nonprofit organization set up "to give voice to troops who served in Iraq"; late last year, he announced he was leaving the U.S. though reports of the reasons vary - some quote him as saying to go have "an adventure" (remember he is a former Navy SEAL) and another states displeasure over U.S. policies.

As far as a run for the White House, Donald Trump had publically stated he would personally endorse and fund a return to politics for Ventura.
