    There is news that Google is going to release separate Index and Algorithm for Mobiles and will affect website not much responsive. Other details regarding the upcoming event from different sources?

    That is true. It clears says that if your site's design is not responsive, your ranking will drop on mobile devices. This obviously will not harm those whose clients / users are purely desktop centric (includes laptops and x86 windows tablets).

    What you mean "separate"? Algo is going to be introduced in serps we know, no separate, visible only on mobiles I suppose.

    Most likely, for the mobile devices would be just a superstructure over the basic algorithm. It is logical that the main factor that will affect the rankings will be adaptation of the websites for the mobile resolution. No wonder that in GMT there are messages about a rework the sites for mobile devices.

    They have already started doing this, they simply filter out websites that look crap on mobile platforms.

    There is an expected new Google update the week of April 21. Expect to see more websites losing traffic if they do not have a mobile friendly or mobile optimized solution.

    i don't think it effects too much on mobile search sites. i have a eCommerce website and it's non mobile friendly but it's rank well in mobile search also.
