hi there dp friends, I am just thinking about the 3 big SE's about the Search Results Pages, are they processing same method? SEO try their best to gaining points for the good results, doing right procedure, battle in SE's positioning, but still in the end some are treat like so unfair by SE's. what do you think my DP friends? Who do you think is the best SE's To give More Focus ? G? M? Y?
Depends. If you have a new site MSN can be good way to go.. but after 3 to 6 months..start focusing on google.. as google is the search engine which can give you more visitors.
The SEs are not using the same algoritms. However, good content and good optimization can give you good results in all 3. As jimkarter points out, MSN is good to look at if your want results early and fast. I look at Google as the most relevant SE target for optimization in the long run.
i had a idea that Yahoo visitors were more commercially motivated , where as google is a general crowd
I think you're best off optimizing your site for your visitors first, Google second, and all other entities third. This is the best way to achieve long-term results. Sam
if u running a business/ecomerce/selling products .. yahoo is a must because the visitors in yahoo are focus/mostly us based and mainly because of the great yahoo directory listing .. for misc sites which earns money from cpm, cpc, ebooks , then google should be your highest priority cause it drive more traffic than msn and yahoo .. but the conversion rate/ratio is low compare with yahoo .. msn .. i will said it coming up soon compete with yahoo and google .. it is a worth to listed in msn .. u never know cause msn it owns by microsoft ..
If you are interested in seeing some varience in the results from the GMY for a 4-month period for the same keyphrase, see the V-E results page.
Yes.. it is depend which SEs gives traffic, obviously you will focusing on that search engine who will get the more traffic and visitors for you.
I've always found it pretty easy to rank in MSN, but rarely does it provide a lot of traffic. Of course, it provides more traffic than Google if I'm not ranked in Google, but I think the potential gains from ranking in Google are worth the effort necessary to rank there, based on the sheer volume of people who use Google as their primary SE.
