SEOMOZ page strength

    Are u guys using SEOMOZ to check your page strength ?
    It is acting funny for me.
    It varies from 1.5 to 3 every week.
    Is that same happening with you guys too?

    It relies on various API's, the results might be inconsistant depending if all are available or not.

    I do check page strength every now and then, its a good measure in my opinion. Anyway, I just tried to check my page strength after seeing this thread, and my result didnt even show up this time. So, I guess they must be updating something so maybe the service is suffering from some "issues".

    It has been acting inconsistant for me for a long time. I like it, just wish it was more stable...:)

    I wouldn't bet the farm on its accuracy. It's showing me with a page strength 6, based upon the 2,766,679 .edu/.gov links it is showing for my site. :eek:

    Anyone care to buy my website for a million or so? :D

    Yeah Jim they are going nuts... from today onwards they are making it a premium service only.... lol... it definitely is not accurate but still everything they do take into account is quite satisfactory.

    Not to be rude, but how the heck can SEOMoz possibly determine the value of websites when even Google can't get it right?

    Indeed... Google gets it right on the money 95% of the time... (google end user fact)... anyway their measure is quite transparent... they never said they are right... they said according to them, that is your strength ;)
