SEO'ing product based sites

Hello everyone, I have been playing the trial and error game with one of my sites trying to figure out what gets more people to my site from the SERP's.

I current tried two setup's in the site title

Site Name: roduct name: roduct category: roduct subcategory:

I recently moved the site name part After the subcategory like so

roduct name: roduct category: roduct subcategory: > Site Name

Which method do you think gets more people to the site? Branding the title with your site name at the beginning or rather just displaying the product information right away.

Also, what way to do you recomend setting up the meta description tags? Right now the description is the only thing running in it followed by my sites description if the product description is not long enough.

I think the second is better - if you mean the title tag.
