You are targeting very competitive words.....these will need a continous SEO push....month after month. I am not sure what it will cost you, but this isnt a job for an ordinary SEO guy.
If I were you I would either look at some other keywords or use PPC advertising. I searched for "credit card" on Google and on the first page found names such as visa, paypal, citibank , mastercard etc...this is the competition you are having. You need to look at second tier keywords in your field.
To get you started, here are a couple that may work. I have not looked into this to check but: low apr, developing stage capital, things like that. That being said, a directory probably isnt going to be the bigest money maker for these terms. You might want to create a network of mini-sites and then promote the directory from them. That way you will have multiple streams of income. I setup mini-sites and promote them as a SEO service if you are interested in something like that please pm me.
