    Page rank need not be high to rank a website in SERP.many people think that a high PR is needed to get SERP.All you need is a natural link building [better to get links from many ip than from getting a single site ]

    Google ranking is how well your keywords rank in google, if its first or tenth rank on the first page of google for instance; while page ranking tackles about how well your site gets inbound links and traffic if its PR2 or PR10.

    I think what you are asking is what is the difference between SERPS and Page Rank. SERPS stands for Search Engine Results Pages and these are the pages that you can see each time you do a google search. Being in the top 10 searches (the first page is critical). Page Rank is a purely Google feature and relates to the popularity and quality of your site, defined by the number of backlinks you receive from other high ranking sites.
