Well Google and MSN always seem to like my sites without much effort on my part (Yahoo hates me lol) so I guess I will go ahead and give it a whirl. Need something fun to do for a change anyways.

I bet that all Chineese and Indian Bloggers/Spammers will be on that contest or atleast work for somebody on that contest.

I know that I don't have enough staff in my company to take down such a big competition, but I'll definately enjoy observing this contest 24/7.

This will be a lot of fun .. even thou I don't have any chances to win I'll give it a try ..

Yesterday I posted that and today I received the following accusation:

"you motha fucker if you dotn have the guts to pay it , dont blame chinese and indian contestants X-( get lost and what the fuck is your company show me ur CRAP portfolio. Never blame anyone without reasons "

I don't know how this guy got upset. I clearly stated that I suspect that many SEO's will hire people numerous "Chineese and Indian Bloggers" to do the link advertising for them .. I didn't say that those people are bad or whatever .. ... I think I deserve this guy to appologize to me !!!!!!!!

I am just an individual probably standing no chance against a company that has a team of SEO experts. This doesn't matter, I will get into the "game"

I am just afraid of black hat tactics being used (as Yahoo and MSN are very friendly in SERPs for such tactics) and I am also afraid of wealthy companies that do not care about the prizes as it means nothing in financial terms to them but care about the value of the contest in terms of recognition on the market (it looks nice to have a medal on your company page reading - #1 in SEO World Championship - any company would like that)

So that is my point of view, I am individual with relatively small budget and time to invest.

I totally agree with you and that's why I've posted that note 3 posts up for which somebody got really upset and put me bad rating!!!!! That wasn't professional and I'm really mad at this guy!!

Large companies can make up a really big competition and their chances to win is times greater than one man army .. that's why I've made my mind and I'm going to be obeserver in this game .. maybe I'll try to advertise the new SEO Website CMS that my company is working on ...

Well, this will be great if "one" person win over all these big companies investing too much into this.

 

I am very suspicious about this all. Sorry and don't flame me for acting like this but we all know how many scams can be done online and I am sure that there will be tons of party crashing attempts and black hat approaches to the winning of the first place.

I really hope that some individual with an original ingenious approach will kick everybody out of the rankings.

Also here is another thing coming: I could make a stand and gather all experts from DP forums in a cumulated effort to take the #1 place while others are on their own. I think there should be a limited number of participants in a team, even if this can't be controlled sad... I am not sure what to say

Hopefully this championship won't turn into a scandal.
