if you have 11 site and if you want to rank them in a single particular field i think you are going to have a problem because it is hard to focus or mange 11 sites and it would probably takes a lot of time rank them all well.

The Art Of SEO will move back into IT Design where is should have been done correctly in the first point. Many of the companies here are hiring SEO experts for their internal needs but expect them to be programmers as well.

Programmers with SEO skills is where the SEO market is going. Learn SEO and .NET or PHP and you will have it made.

SEOer without programming skill will always loose when it get competitive. Talking just doesn't work anylonger.

I think SEO has a big future, as it is not taught in any college or university around the world. Sure you can get crash courses, but they are just not enough of an education. This then increases the demand for SEOs as they are rather rare since SEO in essence is self taught.

Here in Australia, basic SEO positions get paid fairly well and jobs are _always_ available in capital cities.

So I think SEO has a long way to go before it becomes to the same stature as help desk.

Of course there is a future in SEO.. The whole reason that SEO has a future is the search engines updating their algorithms.

And if you have 11 sites competing for the same keyword, I would suggest re-visiting your keyword research and possibly pointing each one to a more focused keyword in your niche.

most of the time optimizing a website its like a mathematical equation if it doesn't solve with the first formula you have to try the next one, as well as in websites if the first technique doesn't gives your site improvement then you need to apply the other techniques until you achieve your objectives and goal.

I don't know! I feel not confident to rank any keywords. Yesterday, I had one keyword (wireless overview) was ranked on the top (my website is http://www.wirelessoverview.net). Today, I find it within 9 pages of SERP, but I find no my keyword.

    I don't understand what's happened with Google?

Not being rude but the site design is not doing any justice and would certainly deter me. Concentrate on the design before worrying about SEO. No point in getting ppl to your site if they bounce straight away because of the awful look

Do you think that the <title> tag has no value? "HOME" is not a good site title and guarantee that you don't rank.

Not really sure. I think more and more people are just going to do their own SEO. It's hard work, but it's worth it and it's vital to getting a proper rank.

Some will say that Seo is actually a designer's job, some will say it belongs to the marketeers rather. In my opinion, you cannot classify it like that.

Search Engine Optimization used to mean the 'crawler language' once but now it also includes a big part of copywriting, marketing and even being innovative!

SEO belongs to everyone who's a webmaster, a blogger, or a designer or has anything to do with the web-making!!

Everything has a future if you are really good at it and if you are genuinely interested in it. Trend doesn't matter, you are an individual and trend should not impact you that much to make you think that anything, including Seo, might have a shady future.

Seo have a future indeed, if, you are good at it. So does everything else, even spamming!! Lol.

One of the articles a couple flips up says we should be wary of buying SEO help. Is there any sort of BBB for SEO's?
