SEO without Link Building

hello,

I am in a bit confusion, need your help.

As I heard in past that Link Building is a very important part of SEO.
I just hired a SEO and he says that SEO(top results) is possibal without link building and he is not building any link like that.

I wonder, is it really possibal without link building?

Yes i think it's possible but link building can help a lot too! maybe his not doing it much and is just getting you few link but quality links!

 

i think Link Building is attached on every SEO. Its a part of being a SEO

 

maybe PPC

 

he might not go out and try to get backlinks, but if he has good content then people will link to him anyways

 

not going for PPC too

 

Link building goes hand in hand with SEO

 

He says: I never prefer to use Link Building for any project, content dosent matters for him. Sites can get good rank without that. According to him anyone can get good rank with the help of good links but my method is diff. Dont worry about this.

But I am really worried, looking for more suggestions and views.

 

SEO w/o link building is SEO w/o ranks to.

 

It can be done but the pr will last till the links on the high pr last.

So you would have to pay per month.

i doubt you can get good result without using content and link building!
if he isn't using neither of these 2 i can't think of what he's doing!

Without Link Building . I think he is talking about Reciprocal Linking and the site can be promoted without reciprocal linking with doing one way link submisisons.....................

 

SEO without some form of link development isn't SEO, it's just on-page optimisation. You're paying him for half a job.

Link building is an important part of seo and it must be done and also on continuous basis.

 

I second that, matt. On page optimisation is just part of the job for SEO. Wihout backlinks, your site will not rank well in search engines.

Page optimisation:
- Let say your targeted keyword is "webmaster". You can consider optimize your landing page by repeating the word "webmaster". The content must be "logic" and unique. Don't try to hide the keyword ( blending ), else you will get penalty - important

- backlinks is the keyword here. This is the main reason why a lot of ppl will submit their site to directories, submit articles to articles directories, exchange links with related sites. A lot of ppl may ask the following questions:

1. How to get a backlinks from high traffic sites?
2. How to get good pagerank?

Please note that pagerank does not guarantee web traffic but pagerank is still important because pagerank is a “vote”, by all the other pages on the Web, about how important a page is. Example, if you review the footer column of dp, you will see a link pointing to vbulletin website " vBulletin® v3.6.7, Copyright ©2000-2007, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.". Do you think how many ppl will click on that link? The % is very low but the fact is spiders will crawl the link and go to vbulletin website. In other word, vbullentin are using this method to re-direct spiders from their clients to their landing page. phpbb are using this method too and their landing page have pr 9.

Ok, back to the original question. How to generate traffic to your site? Another example, wordpress, the top rated blog system. Almost every bloggers know what is wordpress. Why? Answer : mouth to mouth advertising and this is free.
