SEO With Joomla..Where's my www. ?

    I'm not 100% sure how important it is, but I'll be linking to my new site mostly using www.sitename.com

    But no matter if i type my site name in my address bar using the www. or without it..it always redirects to http://sitename.com without the www! Same goes for every one of my pages.

    Is this not so good? How do i fix it?

    I'm using Joomla!

    Edit in configuration:

    in part "sitename" to http://www.sitename.com

    or open configuration.php via FTP, you can see that URL and edit it!

    If its not in your admin configuration, check your .htaccess file and see if you have a rewrite rule setup to remove the www

    Actually, it probably is in the config. If I remember correctly, Fantastico has a habit of setting up Joomla without the www.

    Thanks, I did it in configuration.php :)
    But how do sites make it automatically go to http://www. if someone just types sitename.com in the url bar?
