One way links are not at all harmful.. You competitor can only build one way backlinks from irrelevant websites. So there is no need to panic...

When it comes to the clicks. They are not going to find all of your sites. If you have a good relationship of upholding TOS then you will be fine. Just hope he gets away with it and gives you the extra dough on a regular basis.

I had a client that had lots of cash last year who wanted to prove a point to one of their competitors. They set up an elaborate network of proxies from around the world, then randomly cycled through proxies, clicking on competitor ads. I believe at one time they had like 40 people using hundreds of proxies each day to cost the competitor hundreds or thousands a day. It seemed to work b/c the competitor dropped out of Adsense.

Not sure of the technical aspects of how they did this but just shows you that anything's possible.

I wouln't be too worried about this type of thing. I am 99% sure that Google has many ways (including methods that we haven't a clue about) of detecting attacks from competitors whether it be in the form of click fraund, negative SEO, or any other form of attack.

The only real way to harm a competior is thru negative content that has been SEOed with their company name or full name.

I'll agree with catanich... negative content is extremely powerful but be careful b/c you can run into legal issues such as wrongful claims, libel, etc. Doing it anonymously is sometimes difficult to achieve.

be aware its 100% possible to get someone banned from ad sense for no reason. Thats what someone did to me and i lost $10,000 to google and back then the support wouldnt even contact me back. Never put all your eggs in one basket or trust google to be paying you forever. For google its win win, they are pocketing your money if they ban you or not. i highly doubt they give the money back to advertisers. But why would you do this to someone instead of build your own site better?

it is possible. But if your competitor involves in clicking adsense ads crazily then you can report to adsense team. They will support you.So that is not a problem. But if he is linking with link farms then that could be a problem.
