Very Good information here. Thanks for starting this thread. I just want to echo the fact that if you just rely on SEO with Google you are setting yourself up for huge trouble. Never rely on just SEO for traffic. Always have a mixture of different traffic techniques that are consistently getting you traffic. There are pro's and con's to both FREE and PAID Traffic. You need to find out what works best for you and your online business and most of this is done for trial and error. Also, don't try out a bunch of traffic techniques all at once. You need to break down each traffic method and make sure you understand it and how it works. You need to perfect it and make sure it is generating you good quality traffic before you move to the next traffic method. I hear of people all the time jumping around from one traffic technique to another saying that they don't work or it might generate a little traffic. This same applies to people to jump around from one online business idea to another. This is all they do and you will never have a successful online business if you are always jumping ship to find the next best program. There is no magic button to making money online! You must find a traffic technique, study it, understand it, implement it, learn through trail and error and perfect it to where it is generating you good CONSISTENT traffic. Then you repeat this with another method. Before you know it you will have 5 plus great ways of consistent traffic generating methods. This way if one methods starts to fail or something goes wrong you don't have all your eggs in one basket. Plus, you get a good mix of different types of traffic. Having an online business and making money online takes work regardless of what methods you use for traffic. Just remember to work hard and always work smart. Hope this helps!!! Kevin
Kevin is 100% right. You have to use all the tools available today. Do SEO, do SEM, do SMM, join CPM networks, start traffic exchange, put up some widgets to rotate your content and increase the engagement of the readers (like the one from nster.com) and you'll be all set. And remember - there is nothing free in this world
