Seo traffic what am I doing wrong

I have been working on several of my sites now for quite some time, i believe i have been following most seo guidelines such as:

1. On site optimization
2. Free directory submission
3. Lots of original content
4. Clean code
5. Inbound links
6. Submission of sitemap to the search engines

My Seo score on Whois lookup and Domain name search is 91%

I have seen spikes in traffic of up to 150 uniques a day, and now it has dropped to under 10 a day, what am I doing wrong?

One of the sites is rica24.com which is a latin american portal, i am using subdomains for each country
any feedback would be greatly appreciated

you have to keep building links. seo is ongoing.... as soon as you stop optimizing, your SERP and hits will drop.

keep creating new content, submit articles to directories, write blogs, create rss feeds and start using social bookmarking sites. these are great ways to build natural links and build more awareness of your site.

 

Don't forget time is one important factor

You said you have been working on your sites for "quite some time". How old are these sites, and how long have you been promoting them?

 

It requires some time to get ranked higher. Just keep plugging away. Sure would be nice if you could spped things up though...
