What tools are you using in your seo "work"
What tools do you like to use.. I would like to know any price range, free tools, paid tools and so on. Php,exe anything..
Even shawns own tools if you like them.

(More or less the tools you like/ the tools you're using.)
And please only "white hat" tools

    I too like using WebCEO.

SEO Elite is not effective as much any more in my case.

IBP is also another good alternative.

Some activity here, thought this thread wasn't appealing to people. I don't have much to contribute to this thread i suppose. (Been reading alot and so on, not much practical experience.)

For checking backlinks simple commands like :
    linkdomain:www.domain.com or yahoo's site explorer

    For rankings on different DC's

    for researching keywords :
Overture, google adwords external tool, nichebot
    google trends

    and some others :)

I've been using AdWordAnalyzer for research purposes. It gives me a very long list of keywords and the level of competition for each (pulled from Overture inventory). I also use SEOElite. However, I have found that it is not always very accurate in terms of tracking my sites in the SERPs. It has been helpful in finding good link partners. While the information from both programs is available for free, the package just makes the data easier to use. So they are basically time saving tools.
