Hello Beven You do not really need any to start especially if you are targeting long tail keywords. You are safe. Use Google external Keyword tool for search counts and keywords. And use Google searches free to tell you what your competition numbers are. If you do a search on the forum for SEO my site it will bring up all the info you need to Seo your website onpage and off page. When you can afford it and you want to jump into the really competitive markets and niches with the big dogs and be competitive. Then you can go out and buy one of the super tools. They can be a a bit pricey PM me and I will tell you which one I use? It can tell me what are the URLS of the top ten websites in any niche and what I need to do to beat them out of the top ten and rank in the top 10 myself. Yes this super software can firstly get me thousands of keywords with big searches. It also shows me if the competition have a Keyword I want to rank for in the Title of their homepage. Also how many back links they got to their site. What pagerank are their sites. What Meta tags are they using, what h1 and h2 tags if any and- I can get all the keywords they are using on their whole website legally. I can tell at a glance where all the holes in their SEO methods are and how I can I can get into their markets quickly. Or if it is a red flag and too difficult. It means I will never waste my time, effort and money building big sites that are not going to rank and get traffic. The point is- it can take six months work to rank for these highly competitive keywords. However, when these keywords get 74,000 - 100,000 searches on just one keyword? the payoff is massive!
