I was talking to someone about some of the well known seo tools such as seo elite, optlink, webceo. Has anyone found these useful? Would anyone say that using tools is more beneficial than 'just doing it yourself'?
depends on what is more important to you, your time. or your money. There isn't a magical SEO tool that the Pros use, you basically are just paying them for thier time and knowledge.
There are loads of free SEO tools you can use. Shawn's keyword suggestion tool and keyword ranking tool are two good examples. I spent good money on Internet Business Promoter over a year ago, but since I started finding good info and tools online, I haven't used it at all. I also began to realize that what you need is a good value proposition, an "angle" and then (once you get people to your site) effective conversion techniques. SEO tools can't help you with any of that.
Is there anything that anyone uses that speeds up your time doing certain jobs and is it enough to pay for it?
