I've used a couple of SEO suites on Windows (IBP, SEOElite, WebCEO etc) but I'm thinking of switching to linux. Wondered if there are any SEO applications for linux? Open Source (free) preferably. I mainly need an app that can monitor the positions- increased & decreased ranks, new and dropped pages. Anyone know of something like this for Linux? Cheers
IBP, SEO Elit and webceo are not available on Linux but may be you can try to use vmware if you need them so badly
What distro of liux will you be using? I think Ubuntu has something called virtual box installed, it alows you to run windows apps seamlessy on linux distros, provided a copy of windows is also installed on the machine.
If you're desperate, use WINE . It's a windows emulator that'll allow you to use your windows apps on linux
thanks for your input guys, I'll look into WINE, otherwise it looks like I'll have to use a virtual machine, or even stay on Windows
