I would recommend that you do it all manually because then you can do it over time and not make it look like Spam. Normally sites that allow you to auto submit are not the best so you should focus on submitting to high quality directories and article directories rather than lots of smaller ones! Remember there's no shortcut in SEO!
I don't want to use complete automation. I will use it semi auto. Suppose if you use directory submission. The software which fill forms and I will select category, price option and captia code and other things manually.
