It's almost the New Year here in Florida and time to celebrate. I appreciate all the kudos from everyone and hope you all can learn something from these tools/sites as many of these were offered at one time or another here at DP.

Thanks for the Kudos everyone! I thought this thread was back far enough in age that it wouldn't be seen anymore but I guess not.

I'd like to repost the list with additions on the 1st page but of course it's too late for that. This thread has several updated lists so work from the last page backwards to see the latest and greatest list.

If anyone has some tools that they would like to add please comment. Once I get at least 3 good ones, I'll update the list again.

https://adwords.google.com/select/TrafficEstimatorSandbox - Nice traffic estimator. Type in the keywords you want to estimate, maximize your budget and you'll see what Google sees as potential traffic. Usually used for Adwords but nice to use for estimating niche markets for website development.

New 12/7/08- http://www.google.com/insights/search/# - Googles on Beta search traffic tool by volume, region over time.

Fake Pagerank Detector Tool

http://www.checkpagerank.net/ - Nice PR checker and validator when exchanging/purchasing links.

New 12/7/08- http://www.archive.org/index.php - Try the Way Back Machine on this site when validating obtaining links. This gives you a good idea if the domain from which you want to get a link on was recently transferred/dropped and if its' PR is about to go "poof".

Whether you are a beginner or advanced in the art of SEO this blog (not just this page) has loads of "Blue Hat" methods. I by no means advocate everything in this blog but it does help you learn what is important in getting good SERP.
