1. www (dot) socialmarker (dot) com - best social bookmarking tool that I highly recommend to anyone who is in social marketing.

2. www (dot) quantcast (dot) com - traffic estimation tool. This is actually better than Alexa (dot) com. It also provides other sites that are similar to the site your're looking at.

3. www (dot) onlywire (dot) com - another GREAT social marketing tool. It has over 20 popular social sites. Placing it on your site, you can simply click on a button and it submits your article to all these different social sites.

http://seodigger.com/ - Gives a search estimate for specific keywords to your niche at different SERP standings. Nice.

New 12/7/08- http://www.google.com/insights/search/# - Googles on Beta search traffic tool by volume, region over time.

New 12/7/08- http://www.semrush.com/ - Nice tool for traffic and competitors. Added after checking it out per DPer on this thread!

Fake Pagerank Detector Tool

http://www.checkpagerank.net/ - Nice PR checker and validator when exchanging/purchasing links.

New 12/7/08- http://www.archive.org/index.php - Try the Way Back Machine on this site when validating obtaining links. This gives you a good idea if the domain from which you want to get a link on was recently transferred/dropped and if its' PR is about to go "poof".

Redirect Tool

New 12/7/08- http://www.internetofficer.com/seo-tool/redirect-check/ - Checked this one out after DPer on this thread recommended it. The tool checks to see if your 301 redirect is working properly. This is important for new domain names and transferring websites.

SEO Strategy Blog

Whether you are a beginner or advanced in the art of SEO this blog (not just this page) has loads of "Blue Hat" methods. I by no means advocate everything in this blog but it does help you learn what is important in getting good SERP.
