http://seodigger.com/ - Gives a search estimate for specific keywords to your niche at different SERP standings. Nice.

New 12/7/08- http://www.google.com/insights/search/# - Googles on Beta search traffic tool by volume, region over time.

New 12/7/08- http://www.semrush.com/ - Nice tool for traffic and competitors. Added after checking it out per DPer on this thread!

Fake Pagerank Detector Tool

http://www.checkpagerank.net/ - Nice PR checker and validator when exchanging/purchasing links.

New 12/7/08- http://www.archive.org/index.php - Try the Way Back Machine on this site when validating obtaining links. This gives you a good idea if the domain from which you want to get a link on was recently transferred/dropped and if its' PR is about to go "poof".

SERP Tool

Redirect Tool

New 12/7/08- internetofficer.com/seo-tool/redirect-check/ - Checked this one out after DPer on this thread recommended it. The tool checks to see if your 301 redirect is working properly. This is important for new domain names and transferring websites.

SEO Strategy Blog

I think this one is better than backlinkwatch.

 

No, not really. Iwebtool has a PR predictor but it's more for fun than anything. I think I tried it once and it gave me a PR6 at one time and at the next PR update, same PR. PR is OK, but SERP is much more important.

Not totally agree with what you mention.
In my opinion both are important in different case. Can't compare one more important than the other.

Thanks for the list of seo tools, really useful, will be very handy. I'm going to have a play with these later on.

 

I just tried website grader http://website.grader.com/ and it currently isn't recognizing url's. They maybe moving it to pay only but I'll give it another shot tomorrow to see if it's just a glitch. Darn, it's such a good tool.

it works well.
but seem something wrong with accuracy of PR and Technorati. Maybe because of crawl more than limit.
