Hi SEO can be very difficult and no one really knows how to get to the top of the search engines. However we do now how to improve your chances of getting to the top of the search engines My #1 tip is getting your keywords. Use a keyword tool such as (http://tools.seobook.com/general/keyword/). You need to put in the terms that you are aiming for (e.g SEO) the tool will find a massive list of relevant keywords. If you find the searches with about 50-70 searches a day these are the keywords that you should target. Getting to the top for these keywords will mean that you will get 30-40 unique visitors to each page of your site per day (10 pages= 300-440 unique visitors 100 pages means 3,000-4000 unique visitors ect) My second top tip is to get content filled pages, preferably unique content (Try to include your keywords as much as possible) My final tip is linking- You can easily get links to your website from other similar websites, all you will need is a little bit of time Hope that helps Adam Fletcher
Keyword stuffing I would rather suggest writing content for users, not for SE's. Write intresting unique content, will also make your link building task a lot easier
Darn all this time doing SEO and it doesn't work... Boo! Oh wait, seo is a tried and true way to get to the top of the SERP's? You big fibber.
Good advice but I think the unique visitors depends on the capacity of traffic per day and on the importance to search engine users. I have a website that is not so important because it focuses on home entertainment but it has 17,000 uniques per day and it started maybe 100 or 200 uniques per day.
Where's a step-by-step guide to SEO when you need one? StomperBlog.com is good but costs $700 a month. Too pricey for me.
Hi, Honestly know one is going to give away their SEO methods for free as it wouldn't be benifical for them
Hi I disagree a bit with trying to put your keywords in as much as possible that would be classed as spamming. I would concentrate on writing unique content for the customers and if you are talking about your keywords anyway they should appear naturally in the content. pete
Hi Pete, It wouldn't be keyword spamming if the same 5-6 keywords were used per page. If they were included in the Title, Description, maybe domain, H1 and h2 tags that would not be spamming Cheers Adam Fletcher
You are being too scientific. Counting words in a page? Too mechanical. Why not think of SEO and think about your readers? Check the spelling, grammar, punctuation and ensure that the sight impaired can view the page. Instead of being too SEO-centric, we better use our common sense. Yes, it's back to basics.
Adding links to your site doesn't mean that you have to HAVE a lot of it. It's not the quantity of links that will help you but the quality of links that you have on your site.
