    Hello Friends,

I like to thank you for reading my post today. I have one question about converting 2 of my 4+ years old sites into 1.

My 2 sites are PR4 and PR3. Both are free dating sites. I like to keep PR4 site.

What options should I select? What option is good in SEO to double traffic for PR4 site?

    1. Redirect PR3 site to PR4 site.
    2. Keep PR4 site intact, create some pages on PR3 site to link to PR4 site.
For example: on PR3 site, create some links on this site, and link to PR4 site.
Using PR4 keywords such as 'free dating sites', 'free dating service', when user click on these links on PR3 site, they will go to PR4 site.
Then, imgrate members from PR3 site into PR4 site

In this case, is my PR4 site considered to be duplicated content?

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks.

When moving or merging sites, try to keep the same structure and redirect every single URL / Page of the OLD website to it's most relevant URL / Page on the NEW website.. just make sure to use L301 Redirection, this way PR and Baclinks power will be passed to the new url's..

Even though your new website ranking might not increase quickly, and the old ones will suffer in ranking for a while..

Just give it more time, and things will be fine ;)

You wouldn't double the traffic, you'd just add the two sites' traffic together if you did everything right.

In other words, (Site A Traffic + Site B Traffic) * 2 != New Traffic Level

Redirect the PR3 site to the same content on the PR4 site. It will pass the value over and you shouldn't have a problem as far as traffic going to where they are suposed to.

Although Page Rank is less important to me in respect of Real Traffic. I don't know why I think you should follow the Option -2, Create some links on Home page and subpages too, So that traffic will know that you are wanting the traffic should go the Banner of the next link. Or You can even Declare or Welcome the traffic by saying that "Please see my Other site Here" or something like that.

    N.B. No SEO Rules
