There is a lot of difference - Some sites get ranked well on Google however might rank differently in Bing & Yahoo. What is the reason though.. I also want to find out. Google does not consider Meta Keywords but other meta content unlike other search engines.. this I have heard of. What more?

S these are different search engines, sometimes we will get better results in Google but not in Bing or Yahoo. First you submit your website url to webmaster center and submit express. After some days u will see the results as a seo is ongoing process…….

I'm ranking in the number one position on Google, and Bing for one keyword phrase. But I was ranked first in Google. After about 3 weeks later I was in Bing in about the 3d position. Now the number one position on Bing. One of the things that I think helped most in this case was that the keyword phrase I'm ranking for is the same as my domain name.

Are you trying to rank for each page on the site or the entire website. It's far easier to focus on ranking for each page which renders the whole site more relevant in the end. And this is what Google Bing and Yahoo likes!

BIGGEST difference is Google spends time indexing / reindexing your site – Bing only pops in when someone feeds the squirrels…
For a webmaster, a search engine that doesn’t spend any time on their site is pretty much worthless.
If Bing won’t support webmasters in their marketing efforts, webmasters aren’t going to be bothered with marketing on Bing…

Domain Age: Bing is a lot harsher about domain age than Google. The longer your domain has been registered, the more favor it will find with Bing. One may consider acquiring older domains to enhance the chances of being picked up by Bing.

Length of Text: For Bing, size does matter. So, ensure that your webpages have content of at least 300 words. The length of the text is more of a significant factor for Bing than it is for Google.

Link Out: Google alters your page rank based on the relevance of the link out webpages. Often, people are unsure of how a particular link out would impact their webpage and steer clear of this option. However, Bing likes link outs and increases the page ranking of those webpages that have more of them.

Title Tag of your Page: The title tag is of utmost importance for Bing. Without the relevant keyword in this area, your complete SEO efforts could be wasted.

Title Tags of Other Pages: When you link out from your page, ensure that the title tags of the pages you have linked out to have the keyword that is most relevant to your page. Bing simply loves this.

I think bing updates their contents more quickly while it can take google a much longer time to update their backlinks.

There is no big difference with bing and google or yahoo. Both have same effect but i saw yahoo give more importance for domain name and other search engines will rank for in links that you get from quality sites, basically the work is same for all search engines.

From my research, I've found that Bing loves backlinks with relevant anchor text and such is important in their algorithm. The rest I would tell you, but then I'd have to kill you. :)
