Just create a Wordpress site, the built in features (sitemap, ping) will get you indexed in a couple of days. Then keep adding new content every few days or more.

 

thanks for the advice on getting my site ranked. to answer the question about keyword stuffing, if you stay away from repeating the same word over and over again you should be okay. and be careful not to put words in that don't relate to your site.

Copyscape is nothing to do with the search engines, and while duplicate content will screw you over in getting rankings, copyscape is not really much use. What do you expect it to tell you? 'Yes, that content you 'borrowed' exists somewhere else'??? If you 'borrow' content, and use it unaltered, presumably you know you 'borrowed' it.

What copyscape IS good for, is tracking down unaltered copies of your work so you can see who is 'borrowing' YOUR stuff.
