SEO is really starting to annoy me!!! How do sites like reviewopedia.com get to top page of google for nearly all of there individual product reviews on their site? They must be using some sort of SEO software??? Anybody ever use software that would get them results? Doing SEO manually is just not possible for the amount of sites that I am running. Is there an easier way? If not what is your daily procedure for your SEO techniques? Is it... write 1 article to ezinearticle.com write 1 article to squidoo.com answer 2 question on yahoo answers submit to 3 web site directories post 3-5 times on 5 forums with Page Rank over 3/4 Is this even correct procedure? What is your procedure?
everyone has different tactics, site like that have huge authority and many backlinks with the anchor text of the keyword targetting those keywords they are ranking for.
The easiest way is to give surfers something to link to, link baiting. If you offer say something free, a great article, a funny video ect then peole may link to it from their profiles, blogs, forums etc then you get the best links and don't need to go scouring the net for them.
Spen your time on your site and add new content instead of hunting for backlinks. Backlinks are necessary until you get a stable place in google, then you should concentrate on your content IMO.
One major factor in SEO is age/trust. The longer a site has been in Googles index with trusted backlinks that don't disappear when you forget to re-rent them, the better. This is why sites like wikipedia rock - because they have so many related, reliable links and a good history to back them up.
I agree with Maxerg, in the begging submit to directories and try to get some good links to your homepage and navbar pages... Build a solid link popularity as easy as possible and then just keep adding top quality pages of content, optimized properly...
patience my friend. you need to keep doing your job and forget about those SEO softwares that atthe end hurts your site more than help it. get a great position in google takes time.
Those larger websites manage their seo by using a sufficient number of employees. Those bigger websites are rarely managed by only one person. If possible you should look at outsourcing some seo efforts. For relatively low prices you can pay someone to build links, write articles or anything other task. That can free up your time to concentrate on improving your website and just doing some of the link building. Your procedure isn't bad, but you probably should mix in a few other strategies such as press releases, blog commenting, social bookmarking, etc. Outsourcing will allow you to include many strategies in your seo.
You seem to have a good approach to your website's SEO needs. But I think that if you spent more of your time on building good content for your website, you will find natural backlinks will follow with time. Article directories and press releases are always handy. Yahoo Answers is great as well. Don't forget social bookmarking. It is great for traffic generation which will increase chances of natural backlinks with time.
Thanks every one you have given some great information there... I will put it into action and continue to try hit that number 1 spot
The most important factors are lots of pages with unique content developed specifically for researched niche keywords that don't have too much competition but relatively high traffic, and lots and lots of backlinks. Build backlinks yourself through blog commenting or outsource the work. I recommend doing both.
Consistency is the key to SEO. There is software that you can use out there to make things move a little quicker, but ultimately time will be your worst enemy, so just be patient. Brandon
i wont suggest to use any kind of softwares to increase the back links. heard from my friends that, it may leads to bane ur blog by google.
blog commenting, directories, social sites, blogging and forum posting I think that's the easiest task for me.
