SEO Test - Forum Posting?

    I know people will bang on about a range of links and so on but...has anyone done a test with one method of SEO/Link Building; forum posting for instance? I'd be extremely interested to know their results.

    The result is lots of backlinks and increase of PR and SERP.

    I am promoting your forum with forum posting but not only forum posting. I also use other techniques for promotion like directory submission, social bookmarking, article submission, blog posting etc....

    All webmasters and seo expert use all seo channels including forums. I promote my websites by using all on page and off page seo activities not on single forums.
