    I have submitted my site to Google, Bing as well as Yahoo. Even though Google has managed to index more than 250 pages, Yahoo is still sitting at 2 or 3 pages. I have tried everything but its not working for my site. The same is for Bing too. Any suggestions?

    He hee ,,, yahoo is still slow in indexing pages. Guess what ... google is more powerful, better datacenter, better speed ... but yahoo runs like Forest Gump in the beggining of the movie :))

    Anyway, why bother seo-ing the site for yahoo ? Google is used by everyone.

    I think Yahoo mostly thinks about the domain keyword. I have a site with a great keyword but not developed ranked 1st page. Google sees more to the content, backlinks and PR.

    They have different set of algorithm. I face the same issue. what I understand is while Google gives value to back links, Yahoo consider Content. If you run a Yahoo paid campaign, ppl say its going to help the organic listing too...never tried myself. However, Yahoo traffic always convert...

    Both search engines maintaining different algorithm and different function. Its such a difficult thing to get top position on google as well yahoo for a same keyword.

    i made alot money when i was at the top on yahoo for a missspelled keyword .. so u can think what i am saying ;)

    In other words we can say ,

    Yahoo loves Young and Energetic...Where as
    Google say "Old is Gold"
    Is that it.

    We really do hard work for coming on 1page in google for new sites having 10 to 20 pages but high quality content and information.
    But yahoo gives high relevancy to fresh content. and it never compare pages of sites with other.. means it can rank better for mini sites too.

    now you can judge who is better.. :)
