    SEO is mainly done for traffic.
    You can first do a keyword research, then OnPage SEO and then OffPage SEO.

    Social media sites are a great tool for driving interested traffic, but make sure you research your intended market carefully first and compare that with the demographics and specialities of the social media sites. You can also use techniques such as digital marketing (pr, article marketing etc).

    The only way for traffic by SEO is strong Keyword right time on right place. The other idea is about Marketing like Search engine marketing and social media marketing.

    If you need gud traffic then first you have to understand ur site niche. Once you get friendly your site niche then place title tags on pages of ur site. Try to make your page content relevant t0 your page theme as well as your page title. And also follow other on page tactics. After this go for regular off page tactics.

    In summary i wanna say optimize your site for both Visitors and Search Engine. This is the only secret to get success.....................

    social bookmarking site drive better traffic. you can do article syndication, directory submissions, blog creation, RSS feed to increase the popularity of your site by getting backlinks.
