SEO suggestions for my site

    Im good with coding and design, but still kinda new to SEO. can you review my sites in my sig and offer some suggestions as to how to make them better SEO'd

    I don't know if it's just my connection, but both websites took a long time to load. If your server is slow you should definitely upgrade. The search engine spiders hate when websites are very slow or inaccessible.

    Both websites have fairly solid seo. On roguedeals you should use better page titles for your inner pages. I'm not a fan of pages that repeat the same bunch of words at the beginning of every title tag. That is just as a waste of space and dillutes the words that you actually targeting with that page.

    Since your onpage seo is fairly good, getting search engine rankings and traffic will mostly come down to building plenty of quality backlinks with good link anchor text. Search this forum and other sources for information about different link building strategies. Backlinks are the more important part of each search engine's ranking algorithm.

    Yeah, I know that... thanks, linkbacks take effort and time... and I wish I had more of both. Thank you for your review. I think the new 'add to any' bookmark plugin is really slowing down my site. Thats the thing that helps people share your posts... I just added it today and it seemed to really slow down my site...

    Any thoughts on that? Is it worth having? Do people actually use those? I know I never have clicked one.

    Make a root rewrite so http:// and www versions of your site go to the same page.

    Edit: Nevermind, they do already.. lol

    Having only one <h1> tag might add some emphasis to it.

    Then make the rest of your headings <h2> or <h3>, just make sure they are in order.

    Also, I would try to put the <h1> tag as close to the top of the page as possible along with your target keyword in plain text.

    I don't agree with you at all. SEO is something that anyone can do well at... they just need to learn which ways and methods work and which dont and have time to do it and make the effort to give it some attention. I will never pay for something if I can do it myself. Most SEO 'experts' just do what I can do. So, again, I don't agree with you.
