SEO Success to be on Google #1 in 24 hours

Hi Guys,

I am just experiment with some technique on Wordpress and I have managed to have some great results to rank on Google #1 in less than 24 hours in one of my latest post.

I am just thinking of sharing this result with you such that you can duplicate the step and hopefully you can rank high on Google too.

I have also had much success with working with wordpress plugins. Thanks for the info in the article it gives me some good ideas. I have never been number one, but I have been high up in my blog's different categories.. I have had success with Ultimate Tag Warrior, Google Sitemaps, and the Optimal Title plugin. In fact when I put the optimal title plugin my traffic increased by 50% in a matter of days. Thanks again for the great article. It gives me things to try on my blog. I hope you will share more information. Keep it up.

Did your ranking stay up at #1 for longer than 2 weeks? I have been able to get my new sites rank in the top ten on Google for very competitive words, but not able to maintain it in the top ten. Usually it will drop off after a week or so, some times even dropping off to page 10 or higher.

 

Pritty easy since all your keywords are so long, how many people type exactly what your title is ? hmm not many im guessing. My Guess would be that you created the post, submitted it to every social network in the world and hey presto you have number one, unless you have created good back links in the next couple of days or weeks you will slowly lose you serps places.

But thats just my view.anyone could do it

 

Haha proves my point i think to stay number one is the hard bit you have to make related,quality links to remain top for your keywords, social networking is great for a quick burst of traffic and a short stay in the top 10 (if your lucky) but it isnt the formula for constant success

 

I don't mean to be a jerk, but all this shows is that your site is optimized well online. Searching for your title had better bring up your site. He is right. Wordpress is great if you use just a little optimization and channel it's leaking PR correctly.

However, this isn't a SEO breakthrough because I'd be amazed if you got any real traffic from the term.

However, this does illustrate another important power of blogging. By focusing on the bigger terms, the pyramid effect will occur. Eventually this blog may rank for Wordpress ping list, which may bring 5 uniques per day. Write 3 blogs per week that each rank for 3 5 uniques per day terms and you can easily add 45 uniques per day / per week. On top of that, your bigger terms should be bringing in much bigger terms. You can end up with several thousand unique visitors in a year.

Hi GreenMonster, you have a point there. How to sustain the result? Well, I am still experimenting them a bit and I am also doing some link building now with the anchor text that I like to have. I will monitor there and hopefully there are still some good result later.

 

thanks for sharing this one buddy. I'm also in the process of configuring how to attain such results. But my main concern is not really being number one but how to sustain or maintain my rankings

 

I agree that having rank on Google, the most important is to see more traffic surge and hopefully that will bring more quality traffic. I have seen a bit surge in the Google but not really impressive yet.

I only used Wordpress plugin to rank high on this, I did not submit to social network yet. I am creating this as a learning such that everyone can look at using Wordpress as a strategy to do SEO and there are really lots of amazing plugin we can leverage on.

I am next going to do some social network and build some backlinks and monitor if that helps in sustaining the result. Or anyone has any experience there to share?

The hard part is keeping that high position. Make sure you keep posting quality content on your site and build backlinks.

Hey there,

Well, I got my client's website in the top 5 for most of his keyword phrases.

Some of his competitors have been around for many years, so they have a significant head start.

We were in the top 2 for awhile until my hosting company decided to disable the cfcontent tag. Half the website crashed, so we dropped in the ratings and have not made it back up since.

We are about 5th right now for his main keywords.

I have used press releases which got to google and yahoo news couple times, new sites were find in search results in 12 hours after that.
