Hi everyone, I am putting together an SEO strategy for a new site we just launched. Need some advice from the pro's Here is what we are doing give me your thoughts; 1. Regular Press Releases to quality sites 2. Almost daily site content updates 3. Working very hard at creating back links from good sites Also, we are focusing on site on a niche market - ie. Google Results approx. 100,000 listings. Am I missing anything ?

Directory submission 2. Classified Submission 3. Social bookmarking 4. Article Submission 5. Press Release Submission 6. Blog submission 7. RSS Submission 8. Forum posting 9. Link Building 10. Reciprocal linking 11. Do Follow Blog Commenting
content is king so make sure you always have fresh unique content then your offsite SEO will complement it
I agree with LPB that content is king but at the some time you should create the backlinks too. For creating backlinks , forum posting is an good option. Also joining some social networking and bookmarking sites like twitter , eZdia , facebook , linkedin are good to get traffic in the form of direct links and backlinks . Both can be possible there.
Now the search engines care more and more about the content, so the quality content is the most important factor. I think you have made a great strategy here.
Content is the King of SEO Industry, Because people Love to read a new and Unique Contents............. Press Release Submission and regular Doing Social Media Optimization is very good for the new website.
That just shows that you get the overview of the seo, but to the detail, there are more things, first you should taget the effective keywords first, and then creat topic relatived content and get links by many ways as you said!
