    For article submission I use ezines or goarticles. For social bookmarking, try digg mixx propeller and solinkable (social news sites that want you to contribute tot eh community before submitting your own stuff) or oyax or stumbleupon for social bookmarking where you can submit all your own pages. Also try squidoo.

    Key "backlink check" into Google and use one of the sites you get to check your competitors' backlinks - they can be a useful starting point.

    Also social bookmarking at high traffic sites are helpful for new sites to get indexed.

    Hey guys, I started to work on my sitemap, but I believed I submitted one a year ago but only the xml file. I tried to create them again but this is whats showing:

    Using gsitecrawler (.xml):
    Using XML-Sitemaps.com (.xml):
    Are they both correct? Why is gsitecrawler longer than xml-sitemaps?
    P.S Some of my old links have been removed but they are cached for some reasons. Where do I go from here?
    I found my old sitemap:
    But all of them are not on my site since I'm using a cms, which changed the extension file e.g. 'http://www.dmaireroa.com/?page=service-print'

    I found this on my google webmaster tools;
    This is what I'm using on my .htaccess
    I read up on google, and it seems that I should resubmit my sitemap. That will be the next step but just want to make sure my sitemap is good.

    Thanks in advance
    So what should I do from here?

    Loads of great tips in here. Thanks! I will have to utilize these, as I build my new website. Lots to take in, but I'm really trying to figure out how to utilize the whole social bookmarking thing.
