My boss give me a new SEO project . the domain just booked few days back and site is newly designed and Keyword is given by the client . So what steps should i take to start complete seo process ?

Perform on page optimization of website using its targeted keywords. create a sitemap and submit in search engines. After this you can do off page activities for the website. Build quality back links from different seo sources.

First step should be, DO on page optimization like create site map and submit it in Google. Do keyword indexing and also try to put in meta keywords and description as well. When done with all that you can start by off page optimization. Your best approach should be slow to fast, because its a new domain.
Just put the keywords that you are promoting or your site is based on, In meta keyword and keyword options available.

On-page steps can vary, Depending upon which strategy you think is suitable for the site and its target market. In the end it comes on traffic and mostly targeted traffic, So it is better If you plan accordingly.

Type the kyword in to Google and find the 'Related Searches' This is what Google thinks is related to that term. Get 10 300 word articles created on the topics and drip feed the content on your website over the next 2 weeks. Bookmark, Spin, make videos off the content and link it all back to your pages. That would be a good start!
