Hello every one. Can you review my site and offer SEO tips. My buddy and I have been plugging away at this site for about a year now and had various ups and downs with traffic. He is the programmer and I’m the non techy guy who came up with the idea although I have had to do the SEO research . Most of my traffic comes from advertising. I have never had much luck with social networking sites as far as traffic. Any tips or suggestions would be much appreciated.
Tip #1) Ditch the <font size=5 color=#343455> and replace with an <h1> tag. G loves that tag Use a CSS style sheet to define things.
you need to make you site more targeted... there are 100s of sites out there doing exactly the same thing you are put emphasis on narrowing your niche audience - geo target a specific city and lifestyle... you will get a much better conversion rate... also use a style sheet too.... minimize the actual footprint of your source code... explain more what your objectives are and i can help you more...
Gonna have to agree with the above poster on this one. The markup is a disaster and not at all semantic or organized. You also have a range of mechanical issues such as having both the www and non www version of the site. You are sorta fighting a loosing battle on that one thus far. That should be coded with proper css/xhtml for starters. hope that helps, Nigel
Thanks all... I guess at the end of the day the goal is more traffic...But i want to make sure were getting every bit SEO possible and to examine the technical issues...
Site looks nice, keep submitting to more directories and social bookmarks and that should help a lot too.
