I am new to SEO and and have a TON to learn. With that said, what is a good SEO software that can help someone with no experience learn and be productive in moving their website up in the rankings? I have to keep cost down as well.....Thanks in advance!

SEO software sucks! Don't waste your time and money.

Learn the SEO concepts and put them to practice. If you have a few dollars, pick up "SEOBOOK" and read it.

First try the trial version of WEBCEO or IBP that will help you. They have lots of knowledge base in that softwares.
You can also check www.seobook.com thats a good start for beginners.
    Thanks.

IBP is the best beginner software on the market but it won't teach you the design issues. More important, links are one of the most important thing and no software out there will teach you how to do it.

May I suggest that you put your ULR in these posts so we can see it. We can then make recommendations on where you should focus your limited resources. Remember, we all went thru what you are going thru.

Just ask us. DP is one of the best forums out there and it has really good people to help.

As a beginner, I would definitely not recommend using software. The reason behind this being that you won't really know if the software is or is not performing up to scratch. This you will only find out if you actually know the stuff that goes on behind the scenes of the program.

I recommend reading the pages that "arena" mentioned above me... Couldn't have said it better.

You could test out seoelite, but you don't really need software. You just need a few ebooks telling you about onpage factors, and a lot of high quality links.

Definitely agree with that. I made the mistake to waste my time with web CEO at the beginning...learn from my mistake: red books, forums, blogs but don't use a software!
