Why not ask for payment when customer keywords on first page? That way the client won't have any choice but to pay to keep his/her keywords on first. Its win win for both parties! If you really want to money in seo i suggest you put the advanced payment aside as soo many seo scammers doing the same thing.

If you're so sure you can your client on top ranking, why not ask for payment when they rank top?That's my point. Since so many so called seo guys out there, people are not so sure making advance payment for months then never get any results.

That's the problem. I dealt with a couple seo guys in the past to rank my site keywords on google top 10. They told me it would take 2-3 months, after 5 months my keywords was not even on page 3 they kept asking for more money to keep working, and guess what. I end up loosing money. It's not only the seo guy that needs to pay bills when the client is wasting money on seo never get any results, that too is wasting money.
