Man, I would be really careful about what you get yourself into. I'm not saying SEO's are scammers, but many of them have read a book or two and now consider themselves experts. SEO is a long-term thing, something that can't be done overnight, for that reason I would recommend either going with a local company and seeing what their prices are (probably very high) or reading about it on your own and doing it yourself.

 

Why not use the company in your signature link????

I never get the use of these posts..... Where the OP has an obvious link, to a site offering the services the OP is looking for.....

 

Do a search for them, and choose the ones that are listed high.

Ignore all others.

Then ask them for a list of sites that they have listed high.

Go from there.

 

Aye, its not hard to say 'We are the perfect solution', or 'Try our services because we're the best'. However it is hard to show results.

Get a company that can show you results. Still seem shady? Contact the website owner and ask if they used said company. Why? If I started thebestseocompany.com i could easily say that I made google rank #1..on google!

Just be weary of some people who dont have anything to show for their work, get a 'money back guarantee' in writing so to speak, and take a screenshot of it. Pay with paypal, and make sure you get daily/weekly reports.
