I am planning to start an Affiliate program for my SEO Services.I am planning to provide 20% commission for each work.What you thing of this ?
Depends on the costs of your services. I would suggest you to test several commission rates, or get advice from someone who's allready done it. Let's say your SEO product costs $1000 (to use a simple number). Would you rather have 20 sales a month with a 50% commission rate, leaving you with $10 000 and $10 000, or would you have maybe 10 sales with an commission rate of 20%, leaving you with only $8 000? There isn't really a good answer for this since we don't know more about your service. The cheaper it is, the easier to sell. The higher commission, the more affiliates you get. If I where you, I would start low. The first thing I would do, would be measuring how many sales you could handle per month without being over-worked. Start with 20% as you probally have been planing. How many sales do you get from your affiliates, and how many active affiliates do you get? Try increasing it by 10%. Did you get more active affiliates and sales in per month? Then compare it to your earnings. Is it worth it? Testing is the only way to find out
