Hey Guys, My site: Retireat21.com recieves next to no traffic from google although being launch 10months ago. Please advice SEO changes to my site. Thanks
You have links coming in and are appearing in the serps- Brainstorming page is on page 2 out of 1,880,000, your homepage ranks first out of over 2 mil for the term retire at 21, your page titles are tailored to the page content and you have a lot of actual text as well as numerous links coming in to internal pages so I'd say that's all good so far. One thing that has always worked for me is using the keywords when naming the files. You have .../tutorial/101, tutorial/108, etc. You might want to look at more descriptive filenames. I also wonder if there is just too much stuff on the homepage so that Google is not quite clear what your site is about - webdesign, graphics tutorial, making money online, young entrepreneurs. Maybe you need to streamline the homepage and strengthen the focus. Have you looked at the keywords that Google finds relevant to your site through the Webmaster tools? That may show you if you need to tighten up your focus a bit. Not that you need to lose any of the content, just categorise it and don't necessarily link to every page from the homepage. That's a very competitive niche you are in but it really looks to me like you are doing a good job. Just keep focussing on relevant links back, varied, descriptive anchor text and building those links back to homepage and internal pages.
