I'm trying to optimize 2 product pages from my store to reach the first page of the Google search engine results. I have not made any changes to these pages in over a month and they seem to not be moving anywhere. I have a good title tag, description, keywords, h1, and h2 tags. What is it that I'm missing? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The first page that needs help is the Skip Dog page. I'm trying to be found for on Google with these keywords! "Skip Dog - 1st The Money Then The Power"

The other page I'm trying optimize for Google this one. I'm trying to rank for the keyword. "Skip Dog & Lil' Jazz - Madd Currency"

You should really SEO the whole site.

You may want to build a static site of content and hook that into the shopping cart as opposed to trying to do both from one site.

Also I doubt a lot of people are searching for Skip Dog so you might want to use Myspace Facebook Tagged etc to social market to those people who like hip hop / rap/ r&b.

No...that is a page full of images which won't do much to rank well in organic SERPs for your keywords.

Though if you name them properly you can rank well in Google Images to drive traffic

Content is words. typically 400 to 500 words on a page optimized properly of course.

Might want to make up blogs to do that part.

So what you're saying is all I need to do is add more copy to the 2 pages I'm trying to increase the page rank on? Is there anything else that you see I'm missing on those pages?

Well I would not simplify things that way as there is more to it than adding content but some more will definitely help.

You will still need to get anchor text links to the site using your keywords as anchor text. You'll also need to complete other SEO steps though with the low competition level of the keywords you should not need much to get to the top of Google.

I think you need to use Strong Calls to Action to get people to take actions you want.....your page has words and pictures but it has no sales push so to speak.

Check out competitors and non competitors for ideas on how to present the pages to make sales.

    :)

As far as my on page SEO am I doing everything correct? How is the title, description, keywords, and h1 &h2 tags I chose to use? I will begin building anchor text links to these pages right away.
