I just finished doing on page SEO for my site: Twitterscripts.net Can anyone give me some pointers or tips and what I should do next for this type of site. Thanks.
I would say you need to write better titles to start, then internally promote the pages you really want to come up in the SERPs.
You can setup a blog and update frequently including linking back to your pages in Twitterscripts.net . I'm not seo expert but I think that might help.
Hi there, Since you are done with the on page optimizations, its time to do some off-page optimization now. Hello, Because your next target would be the search engines. And for that link building is must. For link building SEO services are the most efficacious tools out there. There are some of them like : *Press release submissions. *Manual social bookmarking. *Article writing + submissions. *Blog comments. *Deep Link Submissions. *Manual Directory Submissions. and many more... These services will help in developing juicy back links for your site which will improve its ranking in search engines. They are very efficacious in promoting a site and there by giving it a boost. As a result of which page rank improvises and hence number of visitors also increases. Hope this helps you. regards Sripat
I dunno about SEO but left justifying your menu to go with the theme for the rest of the page will flow better with your design. Overall the page is sharp. Pull up some popular keyword research on twitter scripts and throw those 1st on your title tags with your site name at the end to provide more relevance. ex: Twitter Scripts - Background Scripts | Twitterscripts.net
Hello, Ok here is just what I think of your site so far... - You page title is a bit long, 94 characters when the average max is about 70 - You have 24 keywords in your Meta Data!!!! this is pointless as it gives no credit to the main keywords. Only put your main keywords in there. - You have 15 images on your site, 1 not having meta data which is good... but I would recommend taking some down and either replacing them with content or slimming them down as this can affect loading time. - You must get an RSS Feed and a Blog Immeaditaly, or you are screwed. - Another small thing is to renew your domain name to over a year... i know it sounds wierd but every little bit helps. - Try Submitting your site to DMOZ and ZoomInfo Other than those few things you are looking amazing... overall I think it is a nice 84 out of 100... Good Luck, Nick
Thanks for the review Nick, will add repp for you, but what fdo you mean by "1 not having meta data which is good... " ? Also what's wrong with my meta data ? Are you talking about my meta keywords or description ? Please let me know, Thanks for the reviews everyone.
The thing is that your website is nice and you seem to have most of the SEO work done and nicely placed but as ICCA have reported you to Twitter for Copyright Infringement it will more than likely be a waste of time since you are using a "BIG COMPANIES" Name in your website and its domain name. Twitter shall more than likely take action and they are fast. I just got passed this information, so not sure the truth in it. Just be careful and do as they say if needed otherwise they can SUE you. ~ Mike
Hello, I mean that one of your images is missing alt tags, and as for you meta keywords you have way to many in there. Only put 2-5 in there for now then wait until you dominate them, then place new ones in there and dominate those, and then do the same process again. Thanks, Nick
I do agree link building is the next step after on page seo. Also please do not be another idiot, build links that relate to your site as they are more valuable. If you want I can have my company help, but that is only a suggestion. Here is my post about our seo services http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1431388 .
