hello all dp members suppose i have to seach some k/w in google.com and this k/w related sites to be displayed at time list of ten sites page size is dispaayed in kB for e.g. 60 K , 125 K etc.. so p'se give me idea for how many page size good for SEO realted [ p'se specify minimum and maximum page size to be required ] urgent reply ASAP
The smaller the better, however don't compromise your sites asthetics just to get small pages as the SEO benefit isn't worth it if people don't come back because your site is ugly. Fast page loads are good for spiders and humans, so just ensure you don't have unneccesary code and a decent server.
The page should load fast- even for those on dialup. Many people press the back button simply because the site takes too much time to load. The page shouldn't be too long. Users generally do not like to scroll all the way to the bottom on a long page, hunting for the little paragraph that contains what they need.
keep it short and sweet, but not too short, have atleast 200 words in its content, should have few images, keep the size of the images less, try and keep the whole size below 100 k
