there is only one think you must take care. you must have a theme which is validated by w3 (xhtml validate)
I am adding that it does not depend of the theme it self (graphics or validation), but it depends of: is the theme SEO optimized. Usually you will not find such themes because for SEO opt can become expensive if you are not in the mood of researching and getting the filling which posts/writings are the better ones, and which ones will get you into trouble.
