SEO questions about importing blogs and subdomains.

    I have an old blogger profile with about 500 posts (good pageranks) and it's at www.mydomain.com/blog.
    I changed shopping cart CMS and it now appropriates any folders on my domain. I wanted to switch to Wordpress anyways so I created the domain blog.mydomian.com and that is the only place where my blog can be.

    I want to import my Blogger blog to my Wordpress blog but I'm afraid I will lose my pageranks and google wont index me any more.

    Can you explain what will happen if I import and remove the mydomain.com/blog

    Can you be a little more specific? Will doing a 301 redirect keep all my page rankings in tact? Are you able to write a brief step by step?
