I have a website with domain name x.com

I want it to rank well for keywords yz

At the moment all the SEO work I have done, has got it no where.

What if I get the domain name x-y-z.com

And start work on x-y-z.com or keywords yz

and redirect users who go to x-y-z.com to my initial site at x.com

    1. Will I find it easier to get a high ranking for x-y-z.com for the keywords yz

    2. Am I breaking any SEO rules by doing this?

    Thanks for any replies

It won't do anything. If I am understanding your question correctly... redirecting from a blank, new domain will do absolutely nothing.

Either transfer your entire site to x-y-z.com or just tough it out and keep going with x.com and eventually you will rank for it.

If you redirect and link to the x-y-z.com with th x and y anchors it can help.

You are not breaking any rules.
